What is Womaning?

Womaning in India is an umbrella brand that encompasses multiple efforts to build a gender-equitable future for the next generations.

The Womaning Gender Sensitisation workshops have benefitted a number of clients – ranging from the private sector to government organisations to academic institutions.

The workshop is an interactive experience that helps people, teams, and organisations work towards a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace through storytelling, discovery, and questioning our own unseen biases.

The training is delivered in various formats to suit the different needs and contexts of clients.

About the Creator

Mahima Vashisht is the creator of Womaning in India.

Mahima has worked for fifteen years in the development sector, with organisations like UNICEF, the World Bank, and Tata Trusts.

She is a Harvard published author and a Google Women TechMakers Ambassador from India.

A former civil servant with the Government of India, Mahima has been a key part of a number of landmark developmental projects like the Swachh Bharat Mission, and has managed media and public relations for the Prime Minister’s Office.

By qualification, Mahima is an engineer from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra and an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
